More usable power from the same platform. The 24 hp engine provides a broader torque reserve than the 20 hp MSD200, so implements that previously felt borderline—such as a wider rotary tiller, a heavier plough, or a fully loaded trailer—can be operated with less strain and better productivity.

Proven 6+1 mechanical gearbox. Six forward speeds and two reverse speeds give flexible speed matching for tillage, transport, and PTO work. The mechanical shift mechanism is simple, direct, and field-serviceable.

540 rpm splined PTO and category I three-point hitch. These are the industry-standard interfaces for small implements. The MSD240 can run rotary tillers, mowers, sprayers, spreaders, post-hole diggers, and other PTO-driven attachments without proprietary adapters.

Differential lock for traction in soft or uneven ground. When one rear wheel begins to slip, the differential lock ties the two rear wheels together, improving forward motion in mud, loose soil, or wet grass.

Water-cooled diesel engine for sustained work. Liquid cooling supports longer continuous operation than air-cooled engines of comparable output, especially in hot weather or high-load PTO applications.

Compact four-wheel chassis with adjustable track width. The narrow physical footprint makes the MSD240 suitable for orchards, greenhouses, and inter-row cultivation, while adjustable rear track allows matching to different row spacings.
