Equipped with high-elasticity heat-treated spring tines, this cultivator excels in secondary tillage. It effectively vibrates through the soil to break up clods and uproot weeds while maintaining moisture.
A spring cultivator (or spring tine cultivator) is a secondary tillage tool used in agriculture to prepare seedbeds by breaking up, aerating, and stirring the soil surface without deep turning. It uses vibrating, flexible spring steel tines to break clods, destroy weeds, and mix in organic matter, reducing soil compaction for better seed germination.
Cultivators with spring tines are known as the all-rounders in stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation and are suitable for both shallow and deeper soil cultivation. The cultivator is designed for light tillage and a relatively low tractor power.
Mingsin spring tine cultivator
Spring tine injectors are suitable for various types of soil cultivation. The spring tines are ideal for stubble cultivation, incorporating lime or manure and preparatory ploughing, and have a levelling action. Depending on the operation, we will gladly advise you on the right choice of number and type of cultivator tines or chisels, the tine spacing and the number of rows.
Great versatility
With the optional hydraulic lifting system it is possible, for instance, to mount your seed drill behind the Mingsin fixed-tine cultivator to combine passes.
The working depth of the tillage machine can be adjusted very accurately by means of the rear roller. In addition, the rear roller is used to compact, level and crumble the soil. Rear rollers improve the water uptake capacity and the oxygen content in the soil. This improves soil quality and prevents soil erosion.
Vibrating Action: The flexible, coil-wound tines vibrate as they move through the soil, which reduces draft force required by the tractor and helps break down soil clods efficiently.
Safety Mechanism: The spring-loaded design allows tines to flex and bend when they encounter rocks or hard objects, preventing breakage and allowing work in tough conditions.
Seedbed Preparation: It is ideal for final soil preparation after primary tillage (like plowing), creating a loose, smooth, and leveled surface.
Weed Control: The tines work in the top 5–15 cm of soil to uproot and destroy weeds.
Components: Commonly features 3–5 rows of tines on a frame, often with a rear roller for further smoothing.
Stubble Cultivation: Mixing surface residue and stubble into the soil.
Inter-row Cultivation: Used in rows to cultivate crops like corn, sugar beets, and vegetables.
Vineyard and Orchard Work: Used to maintain soil health in orchards, olive groves, and vineyards.
Surface Preparation: Ideal for preparing seedbeds, particularly in dry or hard soil conditions
